Today is my mom’s birthday. I really don’t think I’d be able to fully explain just how awesome Momm is. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve experienced what other people often talk about: how your mom becomes not just your mom, but also your friend. The Firefighter and I have been able to take a few trips with my parents over the past few years, and it’s so fun to just spend the time together, the four of us, enjoying each other as individuals, and not just in the parent/child relationship sense.
Mom is a Godly woman, a loving wife, a loving mother, a fantastic grandmother, a loyal friend, an honest opinion, a trusted confidant, a fun one to laugh with. She’s a good example of how to be all these things, and I’m so thankful I get to call her MY MOMM.
